The physical and mental health and well-being of its staff and students are important to the University of Debrecen. To that end, the institution is introducing massage chairs as a new service at its campuses on Egyetem Square, Böszörményi Road, and Kassai Road, as well as in the Faculty of Engineering building in Ótemető Street. Specialists have installed nine of these relaxation devices on Wednesday.

The now-traditional international student conference hosted by the Faculty of Science and Technology (TTK) at the University of Debrecen covered a wide range of exciting topics from drone wing technology to the urban heat island effect and nanotechnology. The event’s goal is to promote research and foster scientific collaboration among the faculty’s extremely diverse community, which brings together more than a hundred nationalities.
An International University Sports Day was held, organized by the Institute for Sports Science Coordination at the University of Debrecen. Students could relax while getting some exercise. They could choose from seven different sports, and many took advantage of the opportunity.
The current challenges and future directions of modern computer systems and network technologies were presented at the ISNODA 2026 international workshop held at the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Debrecen. The event provided a comprehensive overview of how these technologies relate to the fields of artificial intelligence and data-driven operations, and how they contribute to the efficient functioning of modern digital systems.
