Two new extracurricular clubs, having an outstanding role in talent management, were launched in the school:
- Creative writing club
- Acta DE Kossuth, electronic newspaper and media club
The so-called “traditional” extracurricular clubs have been operating continuously, practically since the foundation of the school. Teachers and pupils involved in the extracurricular clubs in natural sciences, however, have a close cooperation with the University of Debrecen and the Institute for Nuclear Research, so even though they have been operating for decades, but these clubs also renew themselves on a continuous basis.
